Avoiding Bloating
If you do not have a bloated stomach it, then good for you. However, that may not always be the case. You know what they say. An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. Say no to bloating. Follow these tips and surely a bloated stomach will be the least of your concerns. (Since causes of bloating are discussed beforehand, we do not have to explain why these things can help in preventing a bloated stomach.)
1.For those who are lactose-intolerant, stay away from dairy products.
2.For those who are fructose-intolerant, avoid eating too much fruit or drinking too much soda.
3.Lessen your intake of gas-producing and salty foods.
4.If you cannot keep your hands off your favorite potato chips, nuts, and pretzels, drink plenty of water.
5.Deal with your stress. Invest in a stress ball or attend a stress management class.
6.Eat slowly. Chew your food as thoroughly as possible.
7.Avoid drinking through a straw. Sip your beverages. It is more well-mannered compared to gulping.
8.Refrain from chewing gums or sucking candies.
9.Quit smoking.
10.Exercise!
11.Do not overeat.
12.Do not be fooled with food or drinks that have “diet”, “sugar-free”, or “low-carb” in the label.
